22 Giraffe Memes To Feel Less Tall Than You Actually Are

It's funny that giraffe memes and tall person memes are sometimes the same. 

If you are tall, you have definitely been called a giraffe or something resembling that. It happens. I'm not super tall, but I'm taller than most women I know and taller than a lot of men. This has caused a lot of different things in my life over the years. My height grew up pretty late, so I didn't have to listen to the dumb jokes high schoolers make to taller kids. I never heard a "How is the weather up there?" or people asking me if I played basketball. But some weird things did happen to me that can only be linked to my height. 

I remember that for a while, when I got up from a seat in front of an unknown person, they were always surprised by how tall I am. It has also happened to me to be asked my height even by people who don't know me. But the worst is when I fancied a boy, and they felt threatened by my height, as if a girl couldn't be taller than a boy. I hate that stereotype. Luckily, one day you realize that a man who is confident in himself won't feel threatened by a taller girl in any way. 

Another thing I hate is when I wear heels or any shoe that makes me taller, and people tell me that I'm brave for wearing something like that with my height. First of all, I do not measure 2 meters, but even if I did, what's the problem with that? Am I not allowed to wear whatever shoes I want? Am I not allowed to be taller? Secondly, what is the problem with being tall? Do people feel less for being short? It's just a physical trait of no importance in reality. So why can't I wear what I want when I want to? I'm sick of all that. It takes confidence to stop caring about what other people think, but when you have it, you become unstoppable. So be confident; being tall or short doesn't really matter.
